Temporary and permanent hymen suturing can be performed under local or general anesthesia, depending on preference. If general anesthesia is to be preferred, no food or liquid should be consumed 4 to 6 hours before the procedure. In addition, genital area should be cleaned before the procedure. The hymen repair process takes 15 minutes. It is necessary to use the antibiotics prescribed after the hymen repair and the dressing should be done at home as shown to you. One day after the hymen repair, a standing shower should be taken, and activities such as heavy sports and swimming in the pool should be avoided for 2 weeks.

Temporary hymen planting is preferably preferred when there is little time left for the wedding. Permanent hymen is preferred for those whose wedding date is one month or later. There is no difference in both methods in terms of hymen bleeding.
